SERDANG, Aug 1 — Tourism Selangor today unveiled TourScape@Selangor, a new initiative offering road trip experiences across 12 selected tourism destinations throughout the state.

State executive councillor for tourism Dato’ Ng Suee Lim said the initiative, launched in conjunction with the 15th Art of Speed Malaysia Festival, combines automotive, adventure and tourism elements to encourage more visitors to explore attractions in every district in Selangor.

He said TourScape@Selangor is not merely about the travel experience, but also provides visitors with opportunities to discover hidden destinations, enjoy local cuisine and appreciate the unique culture and heritage found in each district.

“We will expand this to all districts and local authorities in Selangor. This will help attract more tourists in conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2026 and Visit Selangor Year 2026,” he told reporters after attending the 15th Art of Speed Malaysia Festival at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) here.

Earlier, Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari launched TourScape@Selangor.

He said the initiative is also part of efforts to broaden Selangor’s tourism offerings by creating new experiences that connect communities, destinations and local products.

Through the Road Trip Fun Maps concept, visitors can explore routes from Sepang to Sabak Bernam, with each district offering different experiences including tourism attractions, gastronomy and unique cultural identities.

TourScape@Selangor is expected to become one of the supporting tourism products to help the state achieve its target of nine million tourists this year through the promotion of more diverse and inclusive tourism experiences.

Previously, Ng had said Tourism Selangor is actively organising various programmes throughout the remaining four months of Visit Selangor Year 2026 to achieve the target of nine million tourists to the state.
