SHAH ALAM, Aug 1 — A female teacher was found dead in a school in Hulu Selangor yesterday, said district police chief Superintendent Manimaran Muniandi.
He said police received an emergency call via the 999 line at about 7.15am regarding the incident, before arriving at the scene at around 8.20am.
He added that the victim was taken to the Kuala Kubu Bharu Hospital for treatment, but was pronounced dead while receiving treatment at the Emergency Unit.
“Initial investigations found that the victim was discovered in the teacher’s room located on the first floor of the school,” he said in a statement today.
Manimaran said the post-mortem on the victim was completed at 5.30pm yesterday at the Sungai Buloh Hospital Forensics Department.
“Those with information of the incident are urged to contact the nearest police station or the Hulu Selangor district police headquarters to assist in the investigation,” he said.
