SHAH ALAM, July 30 — Mega JobCare Selangor 2026, to be held at the Shah Alam Convention Centre from August 8 to August 9, will offer 10,000 job opportunities with the participation of more than 100 employers.

The Selangor State Secretary's Office (SUK) said the programme, which runs from 9am to 5pm, will provide jobseekers with a wide range of employment opportunities through on-the-spot interview sessions.

The event will also offer Job Matching services through MYFutureJobs, as well as free résumé reviews and career counselling to help jobseekers improve their employment prospects.

“Other highlights include MYFutureJobs On-The-Go and the Interactive Career Exploration Board, the Selangor Platform (PLATS) Career Transition programme and eligibility screening, as well as a Generative Artificial Intelligence Employability Masterclass.

“In addition, Pocket Talk sessions covering various career and personal development topics, health screenings, dental services, a blood donation campaign, mobile government agency counters, PLATS Food Trucks, and the Rumpun Selangor Sales programme will also be held,” it said in a Facebook post.

The SUK added that the state government will also provide a Job Loss Assistance Incentive in the form of a RM50 Touch N' Go eWallet credit.

The first 2,200 visitors to the career fair will also stand a chance to receive RM10 in Touch N' Go eWallet credit, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

“The incentive is available to the first 1,000 jobseekers who have lost their jobs or are recipients of benefits under the Social Security Organisation's Employment Insurance System.

“Applicants must apply for at least three positions during the programme and meet the stipulated eligibility criteria, subject to the terms and conditions,” it said.

Pre-registration for the programme can be completed at the following link.

During the tabling of the 2026 Selangor Budget in November last year, Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari announced that the travelling career fair would be further enhanced next year to include certification and skills development programmes.

RM1 million has been allocated for the initiative as part of efforts to address unemployment in the state.
