SHAH ALAM, April 1 — Claims for the 2026 vouchers under the Skim Mesra Usia Emas or Senior Citizens Friendly Scheme (SMUE) and Skim Mesra Insan Istimewa or the Special Needs Friendly Scheme (SMIS) begin today for members born between April and June.
The Selangor Heritage Children’s Foundation (YAWAS) said the claims only involve existing members and can be made at the constituency-level Community Service Centres (Pusat Khidmat Masyarakat Dewan Undangan Negeri, DUN) according to each member’s voting district.
Voucher collection is scheduled from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm, and members must bring their original identity cards for verification purposes.
Meanwhile, registration for new members under the schemes has not yet opened.

Under the Selangor 2026 Budget, the state government allocated RM55 million for the implementation of the schemes, benefiting individuals aged 60 and above as well as persons with disabilities (OKU).
