SHAH ALAM, Nov 30 — The Selangor HalalVibe Fest is set to be expanded to all nine districts starting from next year.

Halal International Selangor (HIS) chief executive officer Muhammad Khushairi Mat Lasar said the exact locations and dates are being discussed and will be announced soon.

"Looking at the achievement this year, we want to organise the event in all districts next year, perhaps at a smaller scale, so that everyone can enjoy it.

“This statewide tour is also aimed at providing advocacy programmes for entrepreneurs and the public, including guidance on how to obtain halal certification,” he said.

He said this when met at the festival at Dataran Karnival here today.

Earlier, Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin graced the event, which was also attended by Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) chief executive officer Dato’ Saipolyazan M Yusop.

Her Royal Highness visited the Meowdel Si Comel event booth and took photographs with the cats. She then presented prizes to the top three winners of the adorable cat competition, which featured a classic-themed costume category, before enjoying a meal accompanied by an angklung performance.

She later spent nearly an hour touring the booths and mingling with traders and visitors while riding on a buggy.

The Selangor HalalVibe Fest 2025 is targeting RM3 million in sales transactions and 30,000 visitors throughout its four-day run, which ends today.

A total of 300 booths have been set up, featuring a wide range of products and exhibitions, including halal goods, food and beverages, services, as well as agriculture and fashion.

It also offers a variety of programmes, including a Halal Certification Seminar, business matching session, halal awareness presentation, and pitching opportunities with Yayasan Hijrah Selangor and Agrobank.

Visitors will also be entertained by performances from renowned local artistes such as Ara Johari, Wany Hasrita, Jamal Abdillah and Aizat Amdan tonight.
