KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 — The Selangor Techsphere Summit will continue to serve as a platform for nurturing startups, attracting global partnerships, and promoting sustainable growth, said State Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Fadzli Ahmad Tajuddin.

It reflects Selangor’s ambition to position itself as Malaysia’s leading hub for technology and innovation while supporting the nation’s goal of becoming a regional technological leader.

“This summit stands as a meaningful reflection of our collective aspirations to position Selangor as the nation’s foremost hub for technology and innovation and to reinforce Malaysia’s ambition of becoming a technological leader within the Asean region,” he said during the summit’s closing ceremony at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) today.

Fadzil added that the event is part of the broader First Selangor Plan (RS-1), which aims to transform the state into a dynamic, technology-driven economy.

“We remain committed to nurturing a workforce that is competent, forward-looking, and resilient by equipping our people with the right skills and knowledge to meet the challenges of tomorrow and seize the opportunities of the digital age,” he said.

Fadzil also highlighted the importance of collaboration between the public sector, private enterprises, and academia in driving innovation and accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies.

“These partnerships will continue to play a vital role in building industries that are competitive, sustainable, and globally connected,” he said.

As such, Selangor envisions the summit evolving into a premier regional platform that inspires innovation.

“Our inspiration is for the summit to serve not only as a showcase of technological excellence, but also as a catalyst for talent development, digital entrepreneurship, and sustainable industrial growth,” Fadzil said.
