KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 — Media Selangor has unveiled its latest artificial intelligence (AI)-based product, named SEIRA (Selangor Intelligence Rakyat Assistance), in conjunction with the Selangor Techsphere Summit 2025.
Its senior digitalisation manager Ahmad Husnuddin Mohd Zawai said SEIRA is the first intelligent AI assistant developed specifically for Media Selangor to help the people of the state access accurate, detailed, and well-organised information.
“This product is powered by an AI smart search platform integrated with data from the Media Selangor news portals, as well as official information from the state government, including documents and reports from relevant agencies.
“Via SEIRA, the public can easily and quickly access information related to state government policies, local authority initiatives, state assemblymen's actions, as well as community news and activities,” he said during the summit.
Husnuddin added that SEIRA’s development is part of Media Selangor’s ongoing efforts to explore new digital innovations to strengthen information delivery and intelligent public services.
Yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof officiated the summit, which is being held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and runs from November 11 to November 12.
Selangor made history as the first state government in Malaysia to host an international-level technology event with the official support of the world-renowned trade exhibition Hannover Messe.
The Selangor Techsphere Summit aims to reinforce the state's position as a leading hub for technology and talent in Southeast Asia.
