SHAH ALAM, Sept 28 — Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin’s mother, Esah Tahar, died this morning due to old age.
According to a statement by the Selangor Royal Office, the late Esah breathed her last at 5.15am at a hospital in Damansara.
She was 82.
“It is our great regret to inform you that Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin’s mother, Hajah Esah Tahar, passed away at 5.15am at a hospital in Damansara due to old age.
“She will be laid to rest at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque after Zohor prayers,” read the statement, which was posted to Facebook.
