GOMBAK, 9 Oct: The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, proposed for Datuk Jamal Mohd Yunos to ask his followers to gather at mosques.
He said that gathering like that would be more meritorious compared to organising rallies that do not benefit the community.
"It would be better if they gather at mosques to pray and for qiyamullail.
"It is more advantageous to build good morals and repent," he said during a press conference.
Prior to this, he performed the Zakaria Batu 8 1/2 Groundbreaking Ceremony during the afternoon.
He was asked to comment on the proposal by Jamal to hold rallies in Selangor.
Previously, Jamal also organised the red shirt rally that was tarnished by racist and violent incidences.
