SHAH ALAM, Nov 5 — The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) is set to receive a RM5.77 million allocation in 2027 to expand the economic development of Bumiputera entrepreneurs, particularly those in the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector.
Berita RTM reported that Economy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir said the allocation takes into account existing entrepreneurship modules and activities in Selangor that can be leveraged to implement the programme.
“The programme also takes into account the structured entrepreneurship activities developed in Selangor, creating opportunities for us to channel the allocation to PKNS to expand their implementation,” he said.
Akmal was speaking during the winding-up of the Budget 2027 debate for the Economy Ministry in the Dewan Rakyat yesterday.
He added that the Bumiputera MSME Economic Development Programme will leverage existing expertise and modules to create more development opportunities for entrepreneurs in the sector.
