SHAH ALAM, Sept 20 — Yayasan Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporation) or MBI has donated eight laptops to students in need in the Kota Anggerik state constituency to support their studies.
State executive councillor for youth, sports, and entrepreneurship Mohd Najwan Halimi said laptops are among the essential needs for students, but not all families could afford to provide them.
“Hopefully, this effort will help ease the burden on less-affluent parents,” he said in a Facebook post.
Earlier, Najwan attended the 2026 MBI Kota Anggerik state constituency laptop handover ceremony at his office on Friday (September 18).
He said the recipients comprised students from higher learning institutions and vocational colleges.
“May this effort will serve as a catalyst to motivate students to achieve success in their studies,” Najwan said.
