SHAH ALAM, Sept 18 — Entrepreneurs across various sectors, as well as upstream and downstream agricultural operators in Selangor, can apply for Dana Pantas and Dana Niaga Tani, with full approval available in as little as 48 hours.
Yayasan Hijrah Selangor (Hijrah Selangor) said in a Facebook post that applications can be made digitally through the DANA PLUS app, subject to the stipulated requirements, eligibility criteria and submission of complete documentation.
Both schemes offer financing of up to RM10,000 with no profit rate and a repayment period of up to three years.
Dana Pantas is open to registered businesses across all sectors that have been operating for at least one year, while Dana Niaga Tani is specifically for upstream and downstream agricultural businesses that have been operating for at least six months.
Among the main eligibility requirements are:
Malaysian citizens aged between 18 and 65
Applicants who reside, vote and live in Selangor
New entrepreneurs, including those under Platform Selangor (PLATS), subject to stipulated requirements
Both schemes are Selangor government initiatives under Phase Two of the Selangor Resilience Strengthening Package, with a total allocation of RM20 million.
The initiatives are expected to benefit about 2,000 entrepreneurs in Selangor.
