SHAH ALAM, Sept 4 — Those looking for new career opportunities are invited to attend the JobCare Selangor Career Carnival Klang District at Dewan Hamzah, Klang, tomorrow.
State executive councillor for human resources and poverty eradication Papparaidu Veraman said the event brings together various employers and job opportunities in one location.
Doing so will make it easier for job seekers to obtain information and connect directly with companies offering vacancies.
“Are you looking for a job? Do you want to switch careers or explore new opportunities? Do not miss the chance to attend the JobCare Selangor Career Carnival Klang District,” he said in a Facebook post, adding that the carnival will run from 9am to 4pm.
Papparaidu also reminded participants to pre-register to ensure a smoother process when attending the event.
“Do not wait for opportunities to come to you, come and seize them,” he said.
The councillor also encouraged the public to share information about the carnival with family members and friends who are currently seeking employment.
In another Facebook post, Papparaidu said the job carnival will have 36 employers and 4,258 job opportunities.
“More interestingly, 2,682 vacancies or 63 per cent offer salaries above RM2,500, while there are also positions with salary offers as high as RM6,000 to RM12,999.
“Among the high-income positions offered include B0 33KV Chargeman by Panasonic Appliances Air-Conditioning (M) Sdn Bhd, Manager (Strategic & Supplier Relationship Management) by Northport (M) Sdn Bhd, and People & Culture Assistant Manager by Primabaguz Foods Sdn Bhd,” he said.
The job opportunities offered also include the retail and sales, manufacturing, transportation and storage sectors, as well as various other service sectors.
