SHAH ALAM, April 10 — The Selangor JobCare Carnival Tour will kick off in Kuala Langat tomorrow at College MCS in Banting from 9am to 5pm, with over 300 employers from various industries offering 40,000 jobs.
The event — which was jointly organised by the state government and Selangor Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) — will be launched by state executive councillor for human resources and poverty eradication Papparaidu Veraman.
The career fair not only offers jobs, but allows jobseekers to attend live interviews and directly interact with employers.
Prospective jobseekers must bring along their résumés, copies of their academic certificate, and other supporting documents.
Registrations for the Kuala Langat edition of JobCare tomorrow are open on the MYFutureJobs website.
The state government has planned nine JobCare stops for this year, starting in Kuala Langat, to expand the reach of job opportunities for Selangoreans.
The carnival offers 40,000 jobs across various sectors, and features the JobCare Istimewa and JobCare Premium segments.
Last year, when tabling the 2026 Selangor Budget, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the career fair would be improved with certification and skills development programmes.
He said RM1 million has been allocated for JobCare, which aims to address the unemployment rate.
