PUTRAJAYA, Aug 30 — About 15,000 public parking spaces have been made available at several locations here to facilitate travel to the 69th National Day celebration at Dataran Putrajaya tomorrow.

According to an infographic posted on the Merdeka360 Facebook page, the spaces are located at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) (3,500), Precinct 9 (3,000), Precinct 1 and Precinct 18 (2,500 each), Precinct 8 (2,000), and Terra@8, Precinct 8 (1,500).

In Precinct 1, motorists can park at Taman Botani, the open car park at Kompleks E, Taman Putra Perdana, and surrounding areas. In Precinct 9, parking is available at Putrajaya Sentral, PJH Destina, and nearby areas.

PICC parking covers the convention centre and surrounding areas, while in Precinct 18, motorists can use the parking facilities at Taman Pancarona and nearby areas. In Precinct 8, parking is available at the Lake Club, commercial areas, and surrounding locations, while Terra@8 offers parking at its basement and nearby areas.

Besides driving, the public can use free shuttle buses as well as Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Express Rail Link (ERL) services to get to the celebration.

The free MS01 shuttle service from MRT/Putrajaya Sentral to Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, Precinct 2, will operate continuously for 24 hours from 2pm today until 2pm tomorrow. It will run every 15 minutes from 2pm today to 4am tomorrow, then increase to every five minutes from 4 am to 2pm.

The MS02 shuttle service from the main lobby of PICC via Jalan P4X, Precinct 4, will operate from 4am to 2pm tomorrow at five-minute intervals.

MRT services will also operate around the clock, but this applies only to rail services and selected RapidKL bus routes. Passengers are advised to use Touch N' Go or Rapid Kota cards for smoother travel.

The ERL service will begin at 4am tomorrow and operate every 30 minutes. Return tickets from KL Sentral, Bandar Tasik Selatan and Salak Tinggi to Putrajaya can be purchased through the KLIA Ekspres app or its official website.

The public is advised to plan their journeys early to ensure smoother and more comfortable travel to the venue, with the celebration scheduled to begin at 8am.

Themed 'Malaysia MADANI: Kesejahteraan Dinikmati', the celebration is expected to draw over 80,000 visitors.
