SHAH ALAM, Aug 26 — The Kerajaan Prihatin programme has come to the aid of a family in Kinrara by helping repair the roof of their home, which was damaged by termites.
Kinrara assemblyman Ng Sze Han said the assistance was provided following an application by a representative of the Indian community leadership for an allocation to carry out repairs to the house.
He said the repair work was also carried out with the cooperation of the Kinrara assemblyman’s office and the office of the state executive councillor for human resources and poverty eradication.
According to Ng, the collaboration enabled action to be taken to help the family regain a safer and more comfortable home.
“Assistance like this is not merely about repairing a house, but about restoring a sense of safety and comfort to a family,” he said in a Facebook post.
Ng also recently visited the home to inspect the ongoing repair work.
