SHAH ALAM, Aug 12 — Selangor’s Merdeka celebration will be held at Kajang Stadium on August 30, the State Secretariat’s Office said in a Facebook post yesterday.
It said the event will be held from 6pm to 12am with fun activities for the whole family, including a parade, performances, and fireworks.
Local artistes will be performing during the festivities as well, it added.
According to the office, the event aims to foster patriotism in conjunction with Malaysia’s 69th year since independence.
It welcomed people to attend the celebration with their families to make merry with visitors from all over Selangor.
