SHAH ALAM, July 16 — The Selangor Development Corporation (PKNS) will host a public screening of the FIFA World Cup final from July 19 to 20 at Aneka Walk in Section 14 here.
PKNS in a statement yesterday said the 12-hour event, from 5pm to 5am, is set to draw about 1,000 visitors to watch the world’s most prestigious football match in a festive atmosphere with various exciting activities.
Organised with Selangor FC, the programme offers the opportunity to watch the biggest football match together and serves as a platform to enliven public spaces by combining sports, entertainment, lifestyle, and entrepreneurship into one event.
“Visitors will not only have the chance to watch the FIFA World Cup 2026 final starting at 3am on July 20, but can also enjoy side activities such as e-sports competitions, meet-and-greets with Selangor FC players, interactive games, lucky draws, food stalls, and other attractions starting as early as 5pm on July 19.
“More than just a screening, the PKNS Homes Final World Cup 2026 Mega Live also opens opportunities for corporate companies and strategic partners to strengthen their respective brands through direct engagement via exhibition booths, promotional activities, and community involvement,” the statement read.
PKNS said the event reflects its commitment to revitalise Aneka Walk as an active community hub under the SA Sentral development project.
It also aims to increase public footfall, stimulate the local economy, and strengthen Aneka Walk’s position as a preferred lifestyle destination for Shah Alam residents.
PKNS invited the public to attend the event with their families and friends to experience the thrill of the World Cup final right in the heart of the city.
