SHAH ALAM, June 15 — The RM100 Kita Selangor Voucher Assistance 2026 programme will begin distributing vouchers to eligible recipients from 30 June, said Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari.
The state government will review the list of applications on Monday (June 22) and Tuesday (June 23) before finalising the selection of recipients.
He said 50,000 recipients will be chosen based on data obtained from the Selangor Implementation Coordination Unit to ensure that assistance reaches those who genuinely require support.
“The state government is targeting recipients to begin making purchases and using the vouchers from June 30 onwards. Distribution will then continue in stages at the end of each month from July to August through to the end of December.
“Each application will also be reviewed against data from the Selangor Zakat Board and the e-Kasih database to ensure that applicants’ eligibility can be assessed more accurately,” Amirudin said during a media conference after officiating the launch of the Selangor Resilience Enhancement Package at the State Secretariat Building today.

The state government is also taking the initiative to consider certain applicants who are not eligible for, or remain on the waiting list of, the Bantuan Kehidupan Sejahtera Selangor (BINGKAS) initiative for inclusion in the voucher scheme.
“A comprehensive review process will be carried out, including for BINGKAS applicants who are not yet eligible or were not selected because the quota of 30,000 recipients has already been filled.
“Based on BINGKAS application records, those who are ineligible or whose applications are still being processed may be considered for inclusion in the Kita Selangor Voucher recipient list, subject to the stipulated eligibility requirements,” he said.
On April 16, Amirudin announced the Kita Selangor Voucher 2026 initiative, which provides RM100 per month for six months to 50,000 state residents to help ease the cost of living. The programme is expected to commence in June.
The initiative forms part of the Selangor Resilience Enhancement Package, which carries a RM131 million allocation and was introduced to help address the economic impact of the ongoing geopolitical crisis in West Asia.
