SHAH ALAM, June 12 — Yayasan Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporation), or MBI, as the official sponsor of SRG eSports School 2026, said it has channelled RM100,000 for the more systematic and professional empowerment of young e-sports talent.
In a Facebook post yesterday, the foundation said the initiative won’t just produce competitive esports players, but also shape their discipline, leadership, and digital skills in line with current needs.
“As a sign of support for youth and digital industry development, Yayasan MBI is proud to be the official sponsor of SRG eSports School 2026 with a contribution of RM100,000.
“It (comprises) RM10,000 to each of the 10 schools involved. This contribution is hoped to help empower student participation and produce more esports talent that can make Selangor and Malaysia proud,” it said.
With comprehensive training and development modules, this programme opens doors to participants to improve their skills and understand their career potential in the growing esports industry,” it said.
Yayasan MBI expressed hope that SRG eSports School 2026 can be a platform to produce a generation of future champions who not only excel in competition, but also have sound leadership and character.
