SHAH ALAM, June 12 — State executive councillor for human resources and poverty eradication Papparaidu Veraman hopes graduates of the state’s Place and Train IPv6 programme will contribute their expertise to Selangor’s digitalisation agenda and economic development.
He said the programme, organised by the Selangor Workers Empowerment Unit (UPPS) in cooperation with ADASTANETWORK Sdn Bhd, is designed to provide graduates with training, professional certification and job placement opportunities in the technology industry.
“During the sharing session, I conveyed the Selangor government's aspiration to continue producing a highly skilled workforce capable of supporting the state's digitalisation agenda and economic development.
“I hope participants who have benefitted from this programme will return to serve Selangor by applying the expertise and skills they have acquired in the fields of technology, innovation and digital transformation,” he said in a Facebook post today.
IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) is the newest communications protocol used to identify devices on a network and route internet traffic.
The session, held at Multimedia University of Cyberjaya, was attended by 28 graduates with backgrounds in Information Technology (IT).
Papparaidu said programmes like this, which involve strategic collaboration between the government, industry partners and training institutions, serve as an important platform to provide graduates with a clear pathway into the workforce.
He also extended his appreciation to Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) for its commitment in providing job placement opportunities for the programme participants.
“I also advised all participants to continue seeking knowledge, enhancing their skills and never stop learning, as the world of technology is constantly evolving and demands us to continuously adapt to new changes and challenges.
“May they continue to succeed and become valuable assets to the state and the nation,” he said.
