RAWANG, May 23 — One of the key advantages of Selgate Specialist Hospital (SSH) Rawang is its integration with the SELangkah digital ecosystem, allowing patients to register, access services and manage admissions more conveniently through a single platform.

Selgate Specialist Hospital chief executive officer Miranda Harumal said the hospital’s digital integration would help simplify patient experience while improving access to healthcare services.

“One of the unique advantages of SSH Rawang is that patients can go through ward admissions and registration processes easily through SELangkah.

“We are proud to have this ecosystem to make it easier for the public to manage their healthcare matters at our hospital,” she said in a press conference after the SSH Rawang officiating ceremony here yesterday.

Apart from digital integration, Miranda said the hospital also offers additional value-added services, including maternity support and postnatal home care services through collaboration with Selgate subsidiaries.

Meanwhile, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said SELangkah, which was initially developed during the Covid-19 pandemic, would eventually serve as a central digital platform connecting Selgate hospitals and clinics.

“SELangkah will become an e-wallet ecosystem linking Selgate hospitals and clinics, something not found in other healthcare ecosystems.”

He added that the system would allow patients’ medical backgrounds, blood records and treatment histories to be digitally integrated within a connected healthcare ecosystem.

SSH Rawang, which began operations in October 2025, currently employs about 300 staff, including 120 nurses, and is supported by nearly 30 doctors across more than 20 specialties and sub-specialties.

The hospital will also introduce cardiac treatment facilities, including a catheterisation laboratory (cath lab), by the end of this year to improve access to heart treatment services in northern Selangor.
