SHAH ALAM, Sept 25 — Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj today attended a Yasin recital and doa selamat ceremony in conjunction with the upcoming wedding of Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah and Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz.
Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin was also present at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque here.
Led by Selangor Mufti Datuk Anhar Opir and organised by the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais), the ceremony was held to pray for the smooth running of the royal wedding on October 2.
Sultan Sharafuddin also performed maghrib prayers at the mosque.
