Yayasan Selangor avails 460 places for special Form 1 course

SHAH ALAM, Sept 21 — Yayasan Selangor has opened applications for 460 Year 6 pupils in the state to join the Yayasan Selangor Special Education Programme (RKPYS) for the 2026 school year.

The Yayasan Selangor corporate communications division said the programme is open to pupils who fulfil the RKPYS criteria, including by obtaining a minimum grade of TP3 in all Classroom-Based Assessment subjects.

“Priority will be given to rural pupils who attend government or registered private primary schools.

“Applicants and their parents must have been born in Selangor or resided here for more than 10 years, are Malaysians, and have a household income of less than RM2,000 a month.

“Applicants can be submitted online from September 22 (tomorrow) to October 8 on the official website,” Yayasan Selangor said.

The foundation added that applicants must print the filled-out form and send it with supporting documents to the Yayasan Selangor education operation management division by October 10.

Chosen applicants will enjoy complete facilities such as boarding, education scholarships, guidance classes, academic excellence perks, self-development, and continuous monitoring by experienced teachers.
