SHAH ALAM, Aug 31 — The Selangor HalalVibe Fest, set to be held in November, will gather halal ecosystem stakeholders encompassing community, business and culture.
Halal International Selangor (HIS) chief executive officer Khushairi Lasar said the event will be held at the Shah Alam Carnival Square from 10am to 10pm, with various activities for entrepreneurs, families, and visitors of all backgrounds.
“Three hundred stalls are expected at the festival and around 30,000 visitors are set to attend. We invite everyone to this event,” he told Media Selangor.
Selangor HalalVibes Fest will feature exhibits, sales, forums, family activities, and arts and culture shows for people from all segments of society, especially entrepreneurs, families, and halal lifestyle enthusiasts.
Besides that, main draws include a Muslim-friendly beauty spa, halal tourism, and business and professional networking that would create a platform to connect, grow, and celebrate the modern halal world.
The establishment of the HIS is among initiatives to make Selangor a global standard in the halal industry, in addition to becoming a driving agency for the three initiatives of the Selangor Halal Action Plan 2020-2030.
