SHAH ALAM, Nov 4 — The road connecting Paya Jaras and Kubu Gajah in Sungai Buloh has been closed to motorists after a bridge subsided due to heavy rain early this morning.
The incident near Jalan Gajah 16 resulted in the closure of the route in both directions.
According to a police notice, all routes to and from the Jalan Gajah 16 (JG16) and Jalan Gajah 15 (JG15) junctions have been closed as a precautionary measure.
The route from Paya Jaras towards Kubu Gajah via the Jalan Gajah 23 (JG23) and Jalan Gajah 24 (JG24) junctions has also been closed.
Motorists are advised to use Jalan Kuala Selangor (FT54) as an alternative route to Merbau Sempak and Kubu Gajah.
Residents and motorists have also been urged to avoid the affected area, comply with instructions from the authorities, and prioritise safety throughout their journeys.
