KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 25 – The Budimas Charitable Foundation raised RM430,000 at its eighth Night of a Thousand Blessings Charity Fundraising Dinner, held at Pullman Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
The event brought together more than 350 guests, including representatives from over 30 corporate companies, in support of underprivileged children across Malaysia.
In 2026, Budimas achieved a new milestone by supporting more than 11,000 underprivileged children across Malaysia, marking a record for the Foundation.
This achievement was made possible through the generosity and continued support of its donors, corporate partners and the wider community.
Funds raised from the dinner will support Budimas core programmes in Food, Home, Education and Medical assistance, helping children access nutritious meals, safe shelter, educational opportunities and essential healthcare.
The evening was graced by Yang Mulia Tunku Dato’ Yaacob Khyra, chairman of The Budimas Charitable Foundation, and featured performances by children from Pusat Jagaan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Budimas Orion, The Pure Life Society and Home for the Angels. A silent auction featuring items generously donated by artists and supporters further contributed to the fundraising efforts.
Budimas extends its heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to the evening's success. Their continued commitment strengthens the Foundation’s efforts to improve the lives of underprivileged children throughout Malaysia.
The Budimas Charitable Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children in Malaysia through its Food, Home, Education and Medical programmes.
