SHAH ALAM, Oct 21 — The Royal City Council of Klang (MBDK) issued one compound and made five seizures in North Klang, Pekan Kapar, and Jalan Raja Mokhtar, Kapar, over various business-related offences.
Its Licensing Department and Enforcement Department conducted the operation to monitor entertainment venues, health and beauty centres, and foreign-owned businesses.
Inspections in North Klang covered five entertainment premises and health and beauty centres, while inspections in Pekan Kapar and Jalan Raja Mokhtar covered various business premises.
“The inspections uncovered several premises operating without the required licenses, as well as the unauthorised sale of live chickens and liquefied petroleum gas,” it said in a Facebook post today.
During the operation, the local authority found that three of the entertainment premises had already closed and were no longer operating.
Following the operation, MBDK made five seizures and issued one compound for offences involving licences, by-laws, and regulations pertaining to entertainment activities.
“MBDK will continue to intensify its monitoring and enforcement efforts to ensure that all business activities comply with established regulations and licensing conditions”, it said.
