SHAH ALAM, Oct 10 — A 16-year-old boy was found drowned approximately 50 meters from the spot where he was reported missing at Pantai Sepat, Kuantan, today.
Pahang Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Assistant Director of Operations and Rescue, Mohd Salahuddin Isa, said the department received an emergency call about the incident at 9.56am, Berita Harian reported.
“Following the call, six personnel from the Kuantan Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) were rushed to the scene to conduct a search and rescue operation along the coastline.
“The operation was also supported by four members of the Water Rescue Unit (PPDA) from the Kuantan and Pekan fire stations,” he said.
He added that the body of Mohamad Raiyan Khairul Anuar has been handed over to the police for further action.
