SHAH ALAM, Oct 8 — Residents of Batu Tiga and surrounding areas can take advantage of free health screenings on October 11.

Batu Tiga assemblyman Danial Al-Rashid Haron said the Selangor Saring programme will be held at Masjid Riadus-Solihin, Section 17, from 9 am to 3 pm.

He said a wide range of health checks will be available, including physical examinations, blood and urine tests, cancer screenings, eye, dental and ear examinations, as well as physiotherapy assessments.

“Come and join us at the health screening programme in Batu Tiga! Take this opportunity to undergo free health checks, including physical examinations, blood and urine tests, cancer screenings, eye and dental checks, and more.

“Residents are encouraged to register through the SeLangkah app. Screening tests will be offered based on an assessment of individual risk factors through a preliminary screening form,” he said in a Facebook post.

Among the non-communicable disease screenings offered are checks for heart conditions, high blood pressure, diabetes and kidney disease.

Cancer screenings will cover colorectal, prostate, cervical and breast cancers, while eye examinations will include checks for vision problems, glaucoma and retinal conditions.

Those with enquiries can contact the Selcare hotline at 1-800-22-6600.
