SHAH ALAM, Sept 24 — The Selangor International Care Expo (SICE) will gather more than 30 local and foreign exhibitors and become a platform to strengthen Selangor’s care economy, said state executive councillor for women empowerment and welfare Anfaal Saari.
“For now exhibitor (slots) are indeed full. Thank God, we achieved the targeted participation of 30 exhibitors. For the business-matching (session) we are keeping registrations open,” she told Media Selangor.
She said the business-matching session allows visitors to be linked to an exhibitor based on fields in which they are interested.
“Whoever interested in meeting with an exhibitor or having a specific discussion, they must register on our platform to facilitate the matching,” she added.
Anfaal said international participants include the Asian Development Bank (ADB), while the expo will feature a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to explore new partnership opportunities.
SICE 2026, themed “Experience Care: Discover the Future of Care”, will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from October 15 to 17.
It aims to empower the care economy with innovation in products and services, and strengthen strategic partnerships between industry players, service providers, non-governmental organisations, and other agencies concerned in driving the sector’s growth.
