SHAH ALAM, Sept 8 — Selangor stole the limelight in the tenpin bowling competition at the Malaysian Para Games (Para SUKMA) 2026 today, winning two gold medals in the TPB8 men’s and women’s singles events.
Competing at Sunway Mega Lanes in Bandar Sunway, Rosheedey Faizal Roslan got Selangor off to a winning start by clinching the TPB8 men’s singles gold with 1,144 pinfalls.
Another Selangor athlete, Ahmad Nazri Hamzah, also climbed the podium in the same event by winning bronze with a record of 927 pinfalls.
Nor Suhaili Yusuf then added to Selangor’s gold haul after winning the TPB8 women’s singles event with a record of 716 pinfalls.
Selangor added a silver medal through Nadia Syafika Abdul Rahman in the TPB9 open women’s singles event after recording 1,231 pinfalls.
Overall, Selangor brought home two golds, one silver and one bronze from the individual tenpin bowling competition, providing an important boost to the state contingent in the hunt for medals at this year’s games.
