SHAH ALAM, Aug 21 — Residents of Puchong and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to undergo a range of free health screenings under the Selangor Saring programme on September 13.
Kinrara assemblyman Ng Sze Han said the state government programme will be held at the MBSJ Multipurpose Hall in Bandar Kinrara 5 from 9 am to 2.30 pm.
“Come and take advantage of the free health screenings, including checks for heart conditions and high blood pressure, as well as eye, cancer and dental screenings, physiotherapy assessments and many more.
“Health is our most valuable asset. Don’t miss this opportunity to get a free health check with your family,” he said in a Facebook post.
Among the services offered are screenings for non-communicable diseases, including heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and kidney disease.
Cancer screenings will cover colorectal, prostate, cervical and breast cancers, while eye examinations will check for vision problems, glaucoma and retinal conditions.
Dental and hearing screenings, as well as physiotherapy assessments, will also be available.
Pre-registration for the programme is now open through the SELangkah application.
