
KLANG, Aug 18 — Selangor won two silver medals in lawn bowls at the Malaysia Games (SUKMA) 2026 today, with the men’s triples and women’s fours teams both finishing runners-up.
At Kompleks Tertutup Boling Padang Bayu Emas, the state men’s triples team had to settle for silver after losing 13-17 to Sabah in a closely fought contest that went down to the final end.
The men's team, comprising Iffat Amri Rosli, Adam Danial Mohamad, Andrian Armani Khabini, and Aiman Haziq Ahmad, put up a strong challenge before Sabah secured victory and took home the gold medal.
The state contingent then added another silver in the women’s fours after losing 5-17 to Johor in the gold-medal match.
The women’s team, comprising Khairunisa Aisy Mohd, Puteri Aira Azman Shah, Nur Dina Najwa Tarmizi, and Damia Aleesya Mohd Irman, had to concede defeat to their opponents' strength in the medal decider.
