PUCHONG, Aug 16 – The Selangor’s men sepak takraw team advances forward to the next round with a convincing 3-0 victory over Sarawak in their Group B match yesterday.
At the Arena MBSJ Puchong, the hosts got off to a strong start as their first regu secured a 2-0 win over Sarawak, giving them an early advantage.
The momentum continued in the second regu, with Selangor again winning with 2-0 to extend their overall lead to 2-0.
The third regu then completed the clean sweep, defeating Sarawak 2-0 and sealing a 3-0 victory for the Selangor squad.
The result reflected the state team’s consistency throughout the match, with all three regu maintaining their winning records.
Selangor is set to face Sabah in their Group B preliminary round match at Arena MBSJ, Puchong.
