SHAH ALAM, July 3 – Selangor plans to deliver a better and more meaningful Selangor International Care Expo (SICE) this October after receiving positive feedback from participants of last year's edition, said the state executive councillor for women empowerment and social welfare Anfaal Saari.

Preparations for SICE 2026 are already underway, as a continuation of the successful Selangor International Care Summit (SICS) 2025, with organisers aiming to enhance the programme's quality and deliver greater benefits to participants and the public.

“What pleases me most is when we received feedback from participants of SICS 2025, who shared their positive experiences. In fact, some shared their excitement to also be involved in SICE 2026.

“This support and trust serve as a driving force for me and the agencies involved to ensure that SICE features higher-quality content, is more meaningful, and delivers a greater impact,” she said in a Facebook post today.

In an accompanying video, several participants shared that the previous summit provided a valuable platform to showcase their products and services to the wider community and to offer practical solutions that addressed public needs.

Anfaal added that despite her busy schedule of attending to duties on the ground, work on the initiatives in her portfolio continues as planned to ensure their benefits reach the people.

More details on SICE 2026, which will be held in conjunction with the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) from October 14 to October 17, will be announced soon.

The SICS made its debut in last year’s SIBS, as Selangor continues to focus on its care economy agenda following the launch of its Care Economy Policy in November 2024.

It has been rebranded as SICE and serves as a premier platform for caregiving, well-being, and support services.
