Bandar Saujana Putra-Putra Heights Smart Lane to close for 5 months

KUALA LUMPUR, July 3 — The Smart Lane on the northbound carriageway of the North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE) between Bandar Saujana Putra and Putra Heights, from KM15.9 to KM13.9, will be temporarily closed for about five months from Monday, July 6, until December 3.

PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) said in a statement today that the temporary closure is to facilitate maintenance works as part of its ongoing efforts to improve highway infrastructure and ensure the safety of road users.

"Throughout the maintenance works, the existing three lanes along the affected stretch will remain open to maintain traffic flow and minimise disruptions for highway users," the statement said.

PLUS also encouraged motorists to plan their journeys using the PLUS app for the latest traffic updates and to obey all traffic signs and instructions issued by PLUS personnel when passing through the work zone.

For traffic updates, motorists may also refer to the PUTRI Virtual Assistant, X @plustrafik, electronic variable message signboards (VMS) at selected locations, or contact the PLUSLine at 1-800-88-0000 in the event of an emergency.
