KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 — PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) will temporarily close the road shoulder after the exit lane of the Bangi Toll Plaza towards Bandar Baru Bangi from today until June 28 next year to facilitate road widening works.
The works are scheduled to take about eight months as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to improve highway facilities and enhance users’ comfort.
In a statement today, it said the closure will be implemented only during off-peak hours, from 10pm to 5.30am, to minimise disruption to traffic flow in the area.
Motorists passing through the area are advised to slow down, comply with safety signs and the stipulated speed limits, and follow instructions from site personnel.
Users are also advised to plan their journeys and obtain the latest traffic updates through the PLUS app, the company’s official social media platforms, including its X (formerly Twitter) account @plustrafik, and electronic message signs (VMS) at selected locations.
For current traffic information or emergency assistance on the highway, users can contact PLUSLine at 1800-88-0000.
