SERDANG, June 26 — The Selangor Aerospace Forum (SAF) is an important platform for industry players to plan business strategies and explore new opportunities in the sector, said state executive councillor for investment, trade and mobility Ng Sze Han.
He added that this year’s edition was held under a different approach, involving cooperation from MyAERO, with industry experts sharing views on current developments, challenges, and the direction of the sector.
He said this exchange is important as it helps companies formulate business plans, especially at a time when the industry is facing various global challenges.
“We organised this forum so experts can share their experiences and latest information with industry players. This is also among important approaches to develop the aerospace industry in Selangor.
“We (also) heard a presentation from Malaysia Aviation Group’s chief executive officer about the crisis it is facing. It is highly important information for (supply chains) in this industry,” Ng said when met during the SAF, held in conjunction with the MyAERO Summit at MAEPS here today.
MyAERO Summit gathers original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), regulatory bodies, and investors to boost collaborations and centre innovation across the aerospace ecosystem.
Invest Selangor Bhd has put together a comprehensive two-day programme, including exclusive tours of aerospace facilities, for the event, which kicked off yesterday.
