KLANG, June 18 — Invest Selangor Bhd’s “Royal Patron Programme with Industry” visit to the Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd (F&N) manufacturing facility in Pulau Indah, with Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah and Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, has strengthened ties between the company and the state government.
Amirudin said the trip presented an opportunity to improve collaboration between the state and key industry players while gaining insight into industry developments.
He added that F&N’s long-standing presence in Selangor, with facilities in Pulau Indah, Rawang and Shah Alam, reflects the company’s contribution to the state’s manufacturing sector.
“F&N is not only in Pulau Indah, it also operates in Rawang and Shah Alam.
“Pulau Indah is one of its locations, where it produces (a wide range of) products consumed by the public,” he told reporters after the visit to F&N Dairies Manufacturing Sdn Bhd at the Pulau Indah Industrial Park here today.

Amirudin said F&N products, especially its dairy products, have become part of Malaysians’ daily lives.
“If we drink teh tarik, I believe more than half of it comes from F&N, through its milk products and others,” he shared.
The RM370 million F&N facility on Pulau Indah is a manufacturing and export hub, producing dairy and beverage products for Malaysia and 45 international markets and supporting the local economy by providing jobs, participating in the supply chain, and spending over RM200 million annually on raw materials.
During the visit, Tengku Amir Shah visited a memorial site, home to a tree planted by Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj at the launch of the F&N facility in 2013.
