SHAH ALAM, May 6 — Construction progress of the Impactable Vintage Property (IVP) Complex in Subang is at 90 per cent, and is set to be done by year end, said its chief executive officer Abdul Offar Musa.

He added that investors and industry players would then be welcome to rent space at the facility.

“Demand for this facility in Subang now is very good due to limited space in existing areas,” he said when met on Monday at the IVP Complex launch ceremony, which was officiated by Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari and attended by state executive councillor for investment, trade and mobility Ng Sze Han.

Offar said the facility would also be open to the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), civil aviation, and logistics sectors, adding that there is room for new developments and strategic partnerships among industry players.

The IVP Complex provides a comprehensive aviation ecosystem with its hangar, managed by industry players such as Malaysia Airlines Bhd Engineering Services (MABES) and Base Maintenance Malaysia Sdn Bhd (BMM).

It also houses an engine maintenance centre under GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM), a leading facility for Leading Edge Aviation Propulsion (LEAP) engines.

The IVP Complex is equipped with an engine ground run (EGR) bay, the only facility of its kind in Subang that can run on-wing engine tests for aircraft including wide-body planes.
