PETALING JAYA, May 2 — Parti Keadilan Rakyat today launched the election management system TERAS to streamline data management, field operations, and strategic actions in real time.
Keadilan deputy president Nurul Izzah Anwar said TERAS is a support platform to ease the party machinery’s workload and ensure information flows faster, more accurately, and more systematically.
She added that the smart system is equipped with a fast-check assistant that would verify information faster to prevent the spread of inaccurate news during elections.
“(TERAS) will not only speed up data flow, but also automate operations and allow strategic actions in real time.
“Decisions made are also more data based, making operations more efficient and systematic,” she said during the TERAS launch at Dewan Komuniti Bandar Utama 11 here today.
Izzah said TERAS hosts four main apps on the same system to ensure each level of operations goes smoothly. They are:
Nexus: An operations centre that manages voter data, delegates tasks to party machinery and volunteers, and tracks current issues in the field.
Pulse: An on-site “weapon” for volunteers who do door-to-door visits. It allows them to identify which homes need to be visited and information that needs to be updated.
Connect: A smart call centre using a phone banking system that allows chat summaries, sentiment analysis, and systematic data gathering.
Foresight: A platform for party leadership to analyse data, test campaign scenarios to formulate more effective election strategies.
Izzah said the use of technology like TERAS is important in the current political landscape, which demands quick, accurate, and data-based decisions.
