SHAH ALAM, Apr 27 — Klinik Kesihatan (KK) Sijangkang in Kuala Langat has been temporarily closed for repairs after sustaining damage due to a storm yesterday.
The Selangor State Health Department (JKNS) said patient treatment services have been temporarily relocated to KK Kebun Baru, KK Teluk Panglima Garang and Klinik Desa Sijangkang Luar.
“A storm at about 4 pm yesterday caused damage to the roof of the outpatient section, resulting in rainwater entering the premises.
“However, no injuries were reported in the incident. Immediate action has been taken, including contacting Tenaga Nasional Berhad for power restoration,” it said in a statement.
JKNS said a contractor has been appointed to carry out repair works, while district engineers will conduct an assessment of the building structure in the near future.
“All patients have been informed of the situation, including announcements on official social media channels, the community and notices at the clinic premises. Further updates will be provided from time to time,” it added.
