SHAH ALAM, April 19 — Efforts to ease major traffic congestion in Bandar Putra Permai and Equine Park in Seri Kembangan are progressing, with major infrastructure projects already approved, said Seri Serdang assemblyman Abbas Salimmi Adzmi, as quoted by Harapan Daily.
He said these include two flyovers in front of the commercial area near Giant Seri Kembangan, a project that would cost about RM280 million and is being supervised by the Public Works Department (JKR).
“This project is currently at the consultation stage and is expected to enter the physical construction phase by the end of 2027,” he explained during an Aidilfitri event in Seri Kembangan last night.
Abbas added that a connecting road to Kota Perdana has been approved for RM22 million, and pointed out that numerous other plans are being considered with local officials and are likely to be decided in the next six months.
“The overall projects planned and under discussion are estimated to cost tens of millions of ringgit,” he said.
