SHAH ALAM, March 15 — The Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ), in collaboration with the Selangor Youth Community (SAY), reached out to residents of Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Pendidikan Rumah Kita and several other welfare organisations through the Ramadan Visit Programme 2026 yesterday.
Held at Rumah Kita along Jalan Pandan 8 in Pandan Jaya, it was enlivened by the presence of the Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah, accompanied by His Royal Highness' Consort Datin Paduka Afzaa Fadini Dato' Abdul Aziz.
In a Facebook post, MPAJ said the programme aimed to strengthen ties between agencies and the community while reaching out to those in need during the holy month of Ramadan.
The event was further enlivened with a speech by a sponsor’s representative before the presentation of donation cheques and duit raya to Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Pendidikan Rumah Kita and several other welfare organisations.
As a symbolic gesture for the programme, a tree-planting activity was also held and officiated by the Raja Muda's sister Tengku Datin Paduka Setia Zatashah.
It concluded with Tengku Amir Shah visiting the welfare home to observe its environment and personally engage with the residents.
