iClean Selangor app reaches 300,000 registered users

SHAH ALAM, March 13 — The iClean Selangor application, which makes it easier for the public to lodge complaints related to solid waste management across the state, has recorded about 300,000 registered users to date.

KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd (KDEBWM) senior general manager (Corporate Services) Ahmad Rizal Mohd Daud said other than filing complaints, the application offers various conveniences to users, including providing feedback and requesting waste collection services.

He said it also helps streamline the process of recording complaints, conducting follow-ups, and resolving issues reported by users more systematically.

“With this application, many processes have become easier,” he said when met at the Ramadan appreciation event with workers from the cleaning sector in Shah Alam yesterday.

The event was organised by Yayasan Amal ASAS, in collaboration with KDEBWM, through its subsidiary KDEB ICI Sdn Bhd.

During the programme, 100 workers comprising lorry drivers, attendants, and cleaning staff received contributions of essential goods.

iClean Selangor is an application that allows residents in Selangor to lodge complaints related to solid waste collection, including domestic waste, bulk waste, or public cleaning.

Introduced in 2016, it received recognition at the PC.Com Awards 2024 as the Best Public Service Application.
