SHAH ALAM, March 3 — The Putrajaya line MRT service is expected to be restored in stages within three days, following a case of cable theft detected this morning, said Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd.
It said repairs to the power supply are underway following the theft near the Damansara Damai station.
“The incident has caused service disruptions and requires comprehensive repairs to ensure the system can resume safely and stably.
“The service is expected to be restored in stages within three days,” it said in a statement today.
Rapid Rail added that during the disruption, alternative trains and free shuttle buses will be provided to help passengers on their journeys.
It also advised passengers to use alternative rail routes where possible.
"Rapid Rail seeks the cooperation of all passengers to comply with instructions issued by station staff to ensure smooth movement and collective safety."

This morning, it was reported that the Putrajaya MRT line was severely disrupted due to a cable theft incident that cut the power between the Sungai Buloh and Damansara Damai stations.
Rapid Rail said extensive repairs are expected to continue throughout the day.
