SHAH ALAM, Feb 11 — Media Selangor Sdn Bhd has launched a campaign dubbed SAMA (Support, Aspire, Move, Activation), aimed at strengthening on-ground activation and forging closer strategic partnerships with vendors and clients through a series of roadshows statewide.
Introduced under the media firm’s Revenue Generation Cluster, the initiative focuses on district and community level activations, including visits to higher learning institutions and schools.
Cluster head Nursuziana Zulkifli said the company would act as a bridge to connect clients, industry players and the community.
“SAMA is not just a ground activation initiative, but a strategic platform that reflects Media Selangor’s capability as a comprehensive collaboration partner for clients and vendors.
“This initiative is aligned with Media Selangor’s direction as it continues to evolve into a diversified business-oriented media organisation, encompassing event management, seminar organisation, communication campaigns and crisis management,” she said in a statement today.

SAMA adopts an interactive and inclusive approach designed to deliver meaningful impact, particularly in support of state government programmes and community-based initiatives.
The campaign will incorporate knowledge-sharing sessions, skills development activities, and holistic community engagement efforts tailored to address real local needs.
Apart from sales and marketing, SAMA will feature beauty and health workshops, hands-on demonstrations, entrepreneurship programmes, and awareness campaigns on social and public health issues.
The campaign features 10 ground activation themes covering health, lifestyle, spirituality, education, entrepreneurship, beauty, nutrition, heritage and traditions, welfare and corporate social responsibility (CSR), as well as sustainability.
“This concept aligns with the aspiration to build a sustainable, collaborative ecosystem that has a positive impact on local social and economic development,” Nursuziana said.
According to the statement, the platform further facilitates the implementation of public service announcements, CSR initiatives, community activities, as well as academic and educational programmes aimed at enhancing skills and empowering targeted groups.
Nursuziana said the campaign represents a strategic approach that integrates communication strengths, community engagement and industry collaboration.
The campaign was launched during Media Selangor’s townhall session today, and was officiated by chief executive officer Mohamed Fareed Mohamed Ashaaree.
The event served as an introductory platform to engage potential vendors keen to participate in upcoming roadshows.
The invitation that was extended to vendors was an early step towards building strategic partnerships and encouraging active involvement to ensure the campaign’s long-term success.
