KLANG, Feb 11 — Shopping at GM Klang has a whole new vibe. With a refreshed look, expanded facilities, and more reasons to visit, the mall is stepping into 2026 as a one-stop lifestyle hub combining shopping, fitness, recreation, and community activities under one roof.
Aligned with Visit Malaysia 2026 and the goal of empowering local tourism and economy, GM Klang has officially opened three key facilities that have already received positive responses from visitors.
These include KFitness, a modern gym with a contemporary interior promoting an active, healthy lifestyle; Gen7 Snooker, a 24-hour snooker centre offering a comfortable indoor recreational space; and Doremart, a 10,000 sq ft supermarket from Sarawak, opening its first outlet in Peninsular Malaysia, offering affordable household essentials.
The official launch of Doremart is set for February 14 at 9.30 am, marking more than just a store opening — it symbolises GM Klang’s commitment to expanding its offerings and enhancing visitor experiences.
“With these upgrades, we’re not just adding shops; we’re strengthening the entire customer experience ecosystem,” said Norsuhaida Othman, senior brand communications manager at GM Klang.
She added that GM Klang plans further lifestyle expansions, including indoor futsal, pickleball and paddleball courts, family karaoke rooms, and hobby and recreation spaces for all ages.
The mall’s recent Gold Award under Malaysia Tourism Quality Assurance (MyTQA) has further driven improvements in service standards and facility quality. With Ramadan approaching, Doremart and the revamped GM Klang are expected to become key destinations for daily necessities and special promotions.
Through these initiatives, GM Klang aims to remain the region’s leading shopping, tourism, and lifestyle hub, offering more value, convenience, and experiences for its community.
