SHAH ALAM, Feb 5 — Aneka Walk in Section 14 here will provide tarawih prayers facilities during Ramadan to cater to Kompleks PKNS visitors, said SA Sentral chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Najib Ibrahim.
He said the facilities will be ready ahead of the activity centre’s launch in April.
“When completed, we will have more than 140 business lots with various choices, from food and beverage, fashion, craft, and music,” added Najib.
He explained that Aneka Walk was designed to be pedestrian-friendly, with a roof structure that employs heatproof technology for users’ comfort.
According to him, Aneka Walk is also equipped with smart technology integrated, including CCTV analytics and artificial intelligence, physical devices to monitor air quality, and high-speed fibre optic connectivity.
“We are also featuring dancing water fountains with exclusive musical arrangements by KRU Entertainment, which is a strategic partner in Aneka Walk,” Najib said.
The activity centre is part of the SA Sentral development, with investment from the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS), which aims to revive the 300m pedestrian walkway between Kompleks PKNS and SACC Mall.
Aneka Walk, with an area of 4.5sqkm, is also meant to be an event and culture hub that can accommodate up to 3,000 visitors.
